Strong Worlds in Val di Sole: Monique and Nicolas Halter each took bronze in the U23 cross-country race — their second medal after gold in the short track. The elite race, however, ended without a podium finish: Alessandra Keller was set back by a chain problem (13th), while Mathias Flückiger (20th) and Vital Albin (41st) also fell short of their goals.
