A Puncture That Changed Everything
The milKit story began in 2015 on a mountain bike trip in Moab, Utah. In the sweltering summer heat, a flat tyre brought the ride to a frustrating halt – only thanks to a spare inner tube could the tour be finished at all. The culprit? Completely dried-out sealant.
That got us thinking: how do you make tubeless life easier? How do you make sure there's always enough sealant in the tyre – so this never happens again?
The Patented Valve System
Checking and topping up sealant without removing the tyre – quickly, cleanly, and without fuss. That was our mission.
After plenty of tinkering, the perfect tubeless valve was born. The trick: rubber flaps at the base of the valve keep the air inside the tyre, even when the valve core is removed.
Combined with our syringe system, it's now possible to draw out old sealant directly through the valve and inject fresh sealant straight into the tyre. The graduation scale on the syringe tells you exactly how much sealant is left.
