This April, our milKit ambassador Helene Frühwirth competed at the UCI MTB World Championships in Chile - and returned home as World Champion in downhill.
The road there was defined by consistent preparation and a few significant setbacks. After a spontaneous Instagram win in September, Helene decided to go all in. What followed were months of intensive training, an ankle injury, and a week of illness right before race day. Helene stayed focused, trusted her preparation - and on race day, put down the fastest run of any woman on the mountain.
