Mathias Flückiger won the men's race with a decisive attack on the final climb, holding his advantage through the descent to take victory. Lars Forster followed in second, while Vital Albin rounded out a strong team result with seventh place.
In the women's race, Alessandra Keller made an impressive return to XCO racing following her Cape Epic triumph, finishing second behind Laura Stigger of Austria.
